I am really excited to share this post with you all! 

Not to long ago, I used this picture in one of my posts. 

 

I think that I was sharing how much of a hoarder he is :) Anyways, I love this picture! E and I's good friend Kristian took it while we were on a backpacking trip in the Smoky Mountains. 

Since I love the picture so much, you can only imagine how excited I was when I saw these paintings sitting on our counter last week.

Not only does Kristian take great pictures, he also paints! 

He used the picture of E in the Smokies as inspiration for this painting.

Not to long ago, I shared about how I wanted each thing in our house to have meaning and memories with it.

I just wanted to share with these vintages treasures I stumbled upon this afternoon....

All of these postcards are straight out of the 50's. Ohh Marilyn - you made my Friday!

I know that the bottom postcard doesn't quit "go," but I simply couldn't resist. I love the London taxi driver and the classy poodle. I love using postcards or old calendar photos as cheap artwork. You can really find some unique pieces when you recycle things.

I think I have made my final decision on the window treatments for the office, but I would love to hear some of your opinions.

Here are a couple pictures from the room so you can visualize the spaceI am hoping that this weekend I will get around to adding molding around the painted chalkboard & pretty glass knobs to the desk. The office is coming along slowly but surely!

Ok, so I'm up past my bedtime searching the pages of etsy & I came across this artworkA barbie dress on a clothesline with a mint background- i love it!

And the story goes, I saw it, loved it, and immediately purchased it. I think they call that an impulse buy! Oh well, I certainly do not feel any buyers remorse. I am currently in the process of creating an office space in my house, and this artwork will be perfect for the space. I will post some pictures when the room is complete!
